Diego Bossio, head of the Anses

"ANSES social security agency head Diego Bossio warned that the opposition "is playing with the pensioners' expectations" by boosting a bill intending to hike pensions to 82 percent of the minimum salary, and complained about the "disrespect" with which he was treated by members of the Senate's Budget Committee during his briefing alongside Economy Minister Amado Boudou.

"It wasn't the right environment to discuss the matter because there was no respect for us," Mr. Bossio said, and added that he felt "discomfort" when, "between laughs, they signed and cleared the bill for debate in the Senate."

According to him, the issue is "complicated," because they are "playing with the pensioners' expectations."

"We are aware of the pensioners' situation, but improvements should come from reason. We should be prudent not only with the current pensions but the ones from the future as well. We have a deficit and I can't find a way to finance it. Therefore, we must be prudent and make suggestions from rationality," he stated.

He concluded by assuring it is the Government's wish to "keep improving the pensioners' situation," but he warned a hike of an 82 percent minimum salary "creates debt.""

Sorry, young man, if they were disrespectful to you. May be you should pay attention to their demands. They are" the voice of the people", you know, young man.

You and others spoke of "how well this government takes care of things...How much money you have in the Central."

Well, try you and the minister Boudou to find the money needed for" the 82 %" for the pensioners of the Nation ".

You are on top of the Anses , well, you´d better worry and try to find the solution for this matter of State...

Next time, try to have" a lot of soup", before accepting such an important post in Government as this.

Susienflores.
